Training is available from youth players through middle school, high school, and beyond.
There is no set minimum age. For younger players, readiness matters more than age. A player should be able to stay engaged, follow directions, and participate in a structured lesson. If they can do that, they’re ready to get started.

Your player will have an opportunity to share what they’re experiencing at the plate, then they’ll get to work. Their swing will be evaluated, areas for improvement identified, and meaningful adjustments will begin during the very first lesson.
-
There is no set number of lessons because every player is different. Lessons are expected to produce results—improvement you can see, your player can feel, and they can carry into practice and games.
Some players come in to address a specific issue, while others continue for ongoing development. Every lesson should have a purpose, never simply be another lesson.

Technology can be a valuable part of hitting development when it’s used with purpose. Tools like HitTrax and Rapsodo can provide useful feedback, measure performance and help track progress—and they can make training fun and engaging for players.
At Silently Savage, though, the numbers are only part of the picture. They show what happened, but understanding why it happened still requires evaluating the hitter.
We focus first on the physical and mental pieces behind the result and on helping the hitter make those adjustments consistently. Once that foundation is established, technology and measurable feedback can be valuable tools for measuring, refining and challenging the hitter further.
The goal isn’t to chase numbers—it’s to make sure the improvement you see on a screen translates to the hitter you see in the game.

Absolutely. Parents are encouraged to watch, learn, and ask questions when appropriate. During active instruction, we ask that coaching and corrections be left to the instructor so the player can stay focused and receive one clear message. Parents will have opportunities to ask questions and understand the why behind adjustments so they can confidently support the work at home.

Players should bring a bat, helmet, batting gloves (if used), water, and a willingness to learn. Don't have equipment yet? No problem- we have equipment available for lesson use.
Comfortable athletic clothing and closed-toed athletic shoes (tennis or turf) are required. For safety, no instruction will take place in Crocs, sandals, slides, or open-toed shoes.
